ABOUT
I started Customer Value Proposition (CVP) Marketing after 15 years of leading product marketing and go-to-market strategies for B2B and B2C organizations in a wide variety of industries including SaaS, aviation, life sciences, fintech, HR, and political technology.
I was born and raised in Colorado, and met my wife while attending the University of Colorado at Boulder. My initial professional background focused on market analysis and research. In 2011, Boeing's digital aviation group hired me to manage business and competitive intelligence. I developed win/loss and voice-of-customer programs. The role quickly expanded to include product marketing for Boeing's flight planning product portfolio. I led a cross-functional team that repositioned individual products into a flight optimization portfolio focused on fuel efficiency - our customers' biggest value proposition. I enjoyed working with product managers to train our sales teams on this new go-to-market strategy, creating the messaging and sales enablement assets.
After Boeing, I held partner and product marketing roles for successful life sciences and fintech companies in the Bay Area. In 2019, my wife and I decided to move to Hawaii. We are so grateful for this very special opportunity. While working in Hawaii, I've continued to draw on my background in market and customer research while developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
The biggest takeaway in my marketing experience is one simple truth: organizations that listen and respond to their customers discover valuable insights, which lead to scalable growth and increased customer adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
Uncovering honest customer feedback can be difficult to do well and consistently. My experience enables me to successfully guide businesses through this challenge.
